Kennedy C. Bullard Armory
The Kennedy C. Bullard armory project was a renovation to a 28,960 SF army headquarters building along with a 2,520 SF addition. The project was completed while a portion of the building remained operational. The project including heavy demolition, new interior finishes, reroof, polishing exiting marble floors,demo and replacement of all window and storefront systems, new HVAC equipment, new electrical lighting, and adding a fire sprinkler system to the entire building. Due to the building being occupied, staging and sequencing of the construction was critical to the success of the project. Some nights and weekends were required to minimize impacts to the buildings tenants.

Cecil Field Building 858
​The Cecil Field Building 858 project consisted of renovating a 22,000SF administrative building for the State of Florida Department of Military Affairs. The scope of work included heavy demolition, complete reroof, CMU, brick veneer, aluminum storefront and curtain wall systems, interior drywall & metal studs, ceramic tile, VCT, carpet, doors and hardware, ACT ceiling systems, new painting, new mechanical systems, fire sprinkler, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, lightning protection, and data/phone/fiber. The project was completed under a Construction Manager at Risk deliverable.

Snyder Armory FMS #3
Project consisted of renovating a 5,000 SF maintenance facility for the State of Florida Department of Military Affairs. The project included demolition of existing restrooms and office space, rebuilding new ADA compliant restrooms with showers and locker areas, new office space, renovating a (6) bay service garage with epoxy flooring, new HVAC exhaust systems, and new electrical throughout. The project was completed under a Design-Build deliverable.

St. Francis Barracks Duplex
The St. Francis Barracks Duplex remodel was an interior and exterior renovation to one of the Florida Army National Guard duplexes located in the historic district of St Augustine. The original structure was built in the early 1930's and the project consisted of a complete structural overhaul and new second floor. STG was required to provide shoring and temporary structural supports until the building was considered structurally sound once again. The project included new structural load bearing walls, a new second floor, demolition of the existing walls and flooring, asbestos abatement, all new interior finishes such as wood flooring, custom cabinetry and woodwork, new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, fixtures and trim, along with new exterior cypress siding and painting throughout. The project also required extensive logistical strategies to be in place due to the size of the site, location to the adjacent residences, and the parking restrictions.

SASMO at Camp Blanding
Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) is a +- 5,000 SF administrative and storage facility for the Florida Army National Guard at Camp Blanding. This facility is utilized for the technical support team for maintenance and repairs for IT related devices. The building was constructed with a Pre-Engineered Metal Building System and CMU wainscot. Interior finishes included metal studs/drywall, ACT ceilings, doors/hardware, Storefront entry and aluminum windows, VCT, carpet, and ceramic tile flooring, along with all MEP systems. The plumbing system utilizes instantaneous hot water heaters fueled with propane gas. This project is currently pending LEED® Certification

EOD Armory
The EOD Armory consists of +- 10,000 SF of administrative space, drill hall, restrooms, and explosive ordinances storage space. The project included full sit development, construction of a pre-engineered metal building shell with a CMU wainscot, metal building insulation liner system, metal studs, drywall, ceramic tile, VCT, ACT ceilings, propane gas systems inclusive of tanks, instantaneous tankless water heaters, and gas piping, and all HVAC, Plumbing, and electrical systems. The project is currently pending a LEED® Silver certification.

Live Fire Shoot House
STG Contracting Group, Inc. constructed the Florida Army Nation Guard's first state of the art Live Fire Shoot House facility at the Camp Blanding Joint Training Center located in Starke Florida. The project consisted of (4) new buildings and complete site development. The project included an After Action Review/Latrine Building, Ammo Storage Building, Mockup Building, and the Live Fire Shoot House Building. The Live Fire Shoot House building shell was constructed utilizing a Pre-Engineered Metal building system for the structural steel and metal roof and wall panels. The interior was constructed to simulate the interior layout of a building with multiple rooms, corridors, and breach doors. The interior walls were constructed utilizing AR500 plate steel and 2 of ballistic rubber, while the ceiling space above was lined with an AmorCore Level 8, 1 bullet resistant fiberglass panel system. A catwalk system was installed above the interior walls for instructional and observation purposes throughout the training sessions. The Live Fire Shoot House building was also outfitted with (16) camera locations and (21) target stations. STG installed a complete data & fiber infrastructure linking the LFSH building to the AAR building which also included a multitude of lighting control features as well. The project was completed (3) months ahead of schedule and is currently pending a LEED® Silver Certification.
